Oklahoma City Baseball Club
OKC dropped the third straight game of the series, as they fell to the Space Cowboys, 3-1.
The lone run of the day came courtesy of Andre Lipcius’ (1B) 24th homer of the season.
Edgardo Henriquez (RHP) tossed a scoreless inning with two strikeouts. Since being promoted to Triple-A, the 22-year-old owns a 1.86 ERA in 10 games. He has 15 strikeouts and three walks in 9.2 innings. Call him up to the big leagues and give him a chance!
Tulsa Drillers
The Drillers fell to the Missions, 5-4.
Damon Keith (DH) drove in two runs with his 15th homer of the season.
Jared Karros (RHP) allowed three runs in two innings. He struck out two, but allowed four hits and issued two walks.
Chris Campos (RHP) struck out six in three innings of relief.
Great Lakes Loons
The Loons defeated the Dragons, 7-0.
Josue De Paula (DH) had a three-hit day and drove in two runs. Since August 8, he’s hitting .325 with a .908 OPS and 165 wRC+.
Dylan Campbell (CF) recorded three hits and drew a walk.
Kyle Nevin (1B) drove in two runs with his eighth homer of the season.
Nick Biddison (2B) drove in two runs with his seventh home run of the year.
Payton Martin (RHP) tossed three perfect innings. He recorded only one strikeout, but he retired all nine hitters he faced.
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
The Quakes walked it off in the ninth inning, defeating the Rawhide, 8-6.
Cameron Decker (1B) was the hero, as his two-run homer won the game for RC. He had a two-hit day and drove in two runs. LA’s 18th rounder in 2022 has been great for the Quakes this season, as he owns a .873 OPS and 127 wRC+ in 59 games.
Zyhir Hope (CF) had a two-hit day and reached with a walk. Speaking of great seasons, Hope owns a .918 OPS and 147 wRC+ in 51 games with the Quakes.
Christian Zazueta (RHP) allowed only one run in five innings. He struck out four and allowed only one hit. The 19-year-old was acquired in the Caleb Ferguson trade. Over his last three starts, he’s posted a 1.20 ERA in 15 innings. His strikeout-to-walk rate is 28.3 percent and opponents are hitting only .137 off him.
