Oklahoma City Baseball Club
OKC kicked off their series with a 13-1 victory over the Express.
Dalton Rushing (LF) had another huge game. He hit two homers and drove in five runs. Since joining OKC, his OPS is 1.085 and he’s hitting .343.
Andre Lipcius (DH) drove in three runs and hit his 23rd homer of the season.
Kody Hoese (3B) recorded three hits and drove in three runs. He hit his 16th home run of the season.
Andy Pages (CF) also recorded three hits. He drove in two runs. Since rejoining OKC last week, Pages has a 1.010 OPS.
Michael Grove struck out two in two scoreless innings.
Brent Honeywell cleared waivers and is back with OKC. He tossed two scoreless innings and had a strikeout.
Tulsa Drillers
It was a quiet night for the offense, as they fell to the Hooks, 6-1.
Chris Newell (LF) had two of Tulsa’s three hits.
Carlos Duran (RHP) allowed two runs in 4.1 innings. He struck out four.
Great Lakes Loons
There was a lot of offense in this one, as the Loons defeated the Cubs, 12-7.
Josue De Paula (RF) had a two-hit day and drew a walk. He also drove in two runs. Since August 8, the 19-year-old has a .904 OPS and 159 wRC+.
Dylan Campbell (CF) recorded two hits and drove in two runs.
Jake Gelof (3B) also had a two-hit day and drove in two runs.
Jordan Thompson (2B) had two hits and reached with a walk. He drove in a team-high three runs.
Maddux Bruns (LHP) allowed one run in 2.1 innings. He struck out four, but issued two walks. His ERA on the season is 2.22.
Jose Rodriguez (RHP) allowed two runs in three innings. He struck out two. For the season, his ERA with the Loons is 2.54.
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
The Quakes opened their series with a 7-5 loss to the Giants.
Carlos Rojas (C) provided most of the offense as he drove in four runs on two hits.
Zyhir Hope (LF) reached base twice.
Luke Fox (LHP) allowed two runs in three innings. In 10 starts for the Quakes this season, Fox owns a 2.33 ERA.
