Oklahoma City Baseball Club
It was a quiet showing from the offense, as they fell to the Express, 3-1.
A home run from Andy Pages was the lone run of the night for OKC.
Dalton Rushing (C) reached base three times with two walks and a single.
Hyun-il Choi (RHP) allowed two runs in 5.2 innings. He struck out two.
Tulsa Drillers
It was a rough night for the Drillers, as they fell to the Hooks, 12-3.
Donovan Casey (LF) drove in two runs with a double.
Orlando Ortiz-Mayr (RHP) allowed five runs in 4.1 innings while Kelvin Bautista (LHP) allowed four runs in one inning.
Great Lakes Loons
The Loons scored two runs in the 12th inning to give them a 6-4 victory over the Cubs.
Sean McLain hit the go-ahead two-run homer in the 12th. It was his first homer since being promoted.
Josue De Paula (LF) reached base three more times and scored a run. He also stole his ninth base with the Loons.
Nick Biddison (2B) and Jordan Thompson (DH) each hit a home run.
Wyatt Crowell (LHP) tossed four scoreless innings with four strikeouts. This is a name to start paying attention to. He was a 4th round pick by LA in 2023 and has been great this season. He’s made 16 starts between the ACL, Low-A and High-A. He’s posted a 2.70 ERA with 54 strikeouts in 40 innings.
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
The Quakes defeated the Giants, 9-1. Most of their production came from a seven run sixth inning.
Cameron Decker (1B) drove in two with his eighth homer of the year.
Zyhir Hope (LF) drove in a run with a double and also walked.
Samuel Munoz (CF) led the team with three hits and drove in a run.
Hyun-Seok Jang (RHP) struck out three in two scoreless innings. Over his last three starts, he’s tossed nine scoreless innings with 13 strikeouts and only two hits.
Cam Day (RHP) allowed one run in six innings of relief. He struck out four.
