Remember last week when I wrote that article about the most important series for the Dodgers? The team was getting ready to head to Arizona, where a series loss could put their division lead in jeopardy.
I won’t lie, I was extremely nervous for that series. The D-Backs were the hottest team in baseball and one bad series could have resulted in the Dodgers being in third place.
It turns out I shouldn’t have worried at all. In fact, quite the opposite.
About 10 days ago, the Dodgers had a 3-game lead in the division with the D-Backs and Padres breathing down their neck. Now, the division race looks all but over. I’m not going to call things just yet, mainly because the Dodgers still have a 3-game series remaining with the Padres.
With that being said, I’m very confident the Dodgers are going to win the NL West.
