Btw, my previous question does not take into account all returning injuries. It may be August, but Kopech will need a spot. Maybe Sasaki if he can get back in August or September. Maybe Brusdar? And does Diaz ever get a shot? Some of these guys won't make it back, some will have setbacks, etc. If it happens, I guess it's a good problem to have.

Snell and Treinen are both due back shortly after the break. Who will they replace? Will Klein is obvious for Treinen. But what about the spot for Snell?

The pen right now: Banda/Casparius/Dreyer/Klein/Scott/Trivino/Vesia/Yates

Rotation: Glasnow/Kershaw/May/Sheehan/Yamamoto

This is without factoring in Ohtani, which we don't have to because of the 2-way player rule.

Despite recent performance, Scott and Yates are not going anywhere. I'm guessing Klein and Trivino, with Snell taking May's rotation slot and shifting him to the pen in a long relief role?

The fear is Dreyer or Casparius being sent down because they have options.

Do you see the Dodgers ever changing up the batting order when Ohtani pitches? At least moving him down to the two hole for Mookie to lead off?

What relief pitchers should be available at the deadline? They need to address the bullpen if they want to repeat. Maybe the Nats closer?

How much longer do we have to endure Scott as the closer? He clearly needs to be taken out of the closer role.

Do you think it would be better for Mookie to play 2B?

Is it just me, or is there even less method to the All-Star selection madness than there used to be?

The Dodgers, with all the unexpected injuries and bullpen innings, have actually been amazing this first half of the season. Except for the Tiger with a 59-38 .603, the Dodgers are the second best percentage with 58-39 .598 at the ASG. Since 1988 World Series win, unless I am mistaken which is always possible, the 2025 are one of the three best ASG break percentages in Dodgers history..

Their .598 is not a Team record since the LA move. I believe the 1974 and 1977 were higher. But still .598 might be pretty high up in the percentage since the first ASG in 1933.

Exactly where since 1951 in Dodgers history and where in MLB history since 1933, are the Dodgers .598? Do they make the Top 25? Top 50? Top 100?

Regardless, as long as the Dodgers finish with the best record Home Field Advantage in all their Post Season Games and Tanner Scott does not a blow a playoff save knocking them out of the playoffs, then he was a great signing in my book. It is not what Scott or Snell or Glasnow has done for the Dodgers lately that matters-it is what Scott, Snell, Glasnow, and others do for the Dodgers in the Playoff.

In fact, even without Home Field Advantage, if they win the World Series I am happy.

I'm still hangin in there-frustrated at times (Should have swept the Giants) but still hanging in there.

Let's send Kershaw off to retirement with back-to-back World Series rings.

For the love of all things holy, WTF is wrong with Mookie? Dare I say, he couldn’t look any worse than the first half of this season … but what are the odds that he’s completely lost it and he’s done? If we have 7 more years of this … I won’t be able to handle it.
