A wonderful weekend home stand was marred again by the hideous city connect uniforms that look extra piss-yellow in the twilight. Since the Rams finally got rid of their "bone" uniforms and never were blue and blue because they always lost, is there any data that suggests these absurd looking uni's are harming the ability of our Boys in Blue to win?
If he becomes available, I think the Dodgers will be in on Skubal. If for no other reason than to keep him from other NL contenders. I feel like the cost would be one of their top OF prospects, and arm from the active roster (Wrobo/Sheehan) and possibly another player. In those terms, which player(s) would you be Ok with sending back to Detroit for him?
Blake. I know you're not a doctor, but how is it that I've never EVER heard the term "loose bodies in the elbow" before this season - and now we have TWO key pitchers on our roster out for extended periods (requiring surgery) with the same ailment. We also see it around the league. Is this because they are diagnosing something that's always existed, just giving it a new name? Or is this actually something new to pitchers all of a sudden?
Still don't understand the Kim move because he is "chasing out of the strike zone." Could it be that he understands he needs to make contact and make something happen - i.e. the over aggressive approach to the plate. Kim has a bat, a glove, a great arm and SPEED, something this team does not have - or want to use!
Do you think Rushing’s emergence and fight for playing time is stressing Smith into his regression at the plate this year?

Do you think we actually land Skubal? If so, for who?

Maybe the dodgers get skuball next year for cash only, and not lose any players.
