It almost felt like I was watching a no-hitter last night. That’s the state of baseball, nowadays.
We live in a time where pitchers don’t face the order for the third time. They don’t surpass 100 pitches. That’s just something we rarely see anymore. With this trend in baseball, we rarely see complete games. With the rarity of complete games, seeing shutouts is even more rare.
Well, last night we were given a treat.
