Oklahoma City Comets
The Comets dropped the second game of the series, falling to the Aviators, 9-2.
Alex Freeland (SS) was tied for the team-high in hits with two. He also drove in a run.
Hunter Feduccia (C) also had two hits and drove in a run.
Matt Sauer (RHP) allowed four runs on seven hits in only 3.1 innings.
Michael Kopech had another rough rehab outing. He recorded only two outs, as he allowed a run. He threw 22 pitches, with only eight being for strikes. It’s been a rough couple weeks for him, as his ERA with OKC is 19.80.
Tulsa Drillers
The Drillers won in extras, defeating the Wind Surge, 10-7.
Yeiner Fernandez (C) led the team with three hits and also drove in a team-high three runs.
John Rhodes (1B) drove in two runs with his fourth homer of the season.
Nick Biddison (3B) recorded two hits, reached with two walks and drove in a run.
Peter Heubeck (RHP) had a rough outing, as he allowed five runs on six hits in only 3.2 innings.
Great Lakes Loons
It was a big day for the offense, as they defeated the TinCaps, 10-1.
Joe Vetrano (1B) led the way with four hits. He also drove in three runs, tied for the team lead.
Zyhir Hope (CF) had three hits and drove in two runs.
Josue De Paula (RF) continues to have one of the best eyes in the minors. He recorded a hit and drew three walks.
Jake Gelof (3B) was tied for the team lead with three RBI.
Wyatt Crowell (LHP) had by far his best start of the season. He was perfect in 4.1 innings. He struck out seven while not allowing a baserunner.
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
The Quakes fell to the Nuts, 8-5.
Joendry Vargas (SS) had a two-hit day and drove in two runs.
Jaron Elkins (CF) hit his sixth home run of the season.
Aidan Foeller (RHP) allowed three runs in 3.2 innings of work.
