I mentioned this the other day in my mailbag, but the next month is going to be pretty intense for the Dodgers. They barely have any days off while also having their toughest stretch of the entire season.
The Dodgers will kick off a series in New York against the Mets on Friday, May 23. They will conclude a series at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, June 19 against the Padres. In between those two games will be hell, to put it kindly.
During this 4-week stretch, the Dodgers will play eight opponents. All eight have a winning percentage above .500 and will likely be playoff teams. During this stretch, the Dodgers will have a total of TWO days off.
It’s going to be rough. It’s going to be brutal. If the Dodgers can make it out of this stretch alive, they’re going to be in a GREAT position for the remainder of the season.
