I still can’t believe it.
There were so many points this season where it looked like the Dodgers just didn’t have what it took to win a World Series. There were so many injuries and so many stretches where the team was just underperforming.
We knew they’d likely make it to the playoffs somehow, but winning at least three series’ seemed like a fairytale dream.
Well, I guess we haven’t woken up yet.
The Dodgers won the 2024 World Series last night. It turned from one of the most frustrating games of my life to easily the best. I mean, seriously. This game started out so ugly and looked like it was on the verge of disaster… until it became the biggest World Series comeback in a clinching game EVER.
There are so many things I want to talk about from this game, but I don’t want this article to be 10,000+ words. I don’t want to overwhelm you all!
I’ll be breaking down numerous things from this game, the series and the season in the coming days. I’ll have a lot of different articles talking about the biggest moments and diving more into them.
For now, I just wanted to say that this is my favorite Dodgers team of my lifetime. Obviously the 2020 squad will always be special, but this team just felt different. The personalities, the way this team handled their business. It was different than in years prior.
I love this team and I love the Dodgers!
Congrats! I’m usually a Yankees fan, but the Dodgers did an amazing job. Hard work! They deserve the applause!
Yes!!!
