I feel like I’m running out of things to say about Tyler Glasnow. We all knew when the Dodgers acquired him that they’d be getting an All-Star caliber starting pitcher. Well, through the first portion of his Dodgers career, he’s been a Cy Young caliber starting pitcher.
He made his ninth start of the season for the Dodgers on Friday night. I feel like I’ve said this a lot this season, but this start is up there for one of the best of his career.
Glasnow went seven innings, already the fourth time he’s done that this season. He struck out 10 for the fourth time as well. For Glasnow, he’s had four games this season with at least seven innings and 10 strikeouts. Entering this season, he had done that a total of only six times. He’s nearly matched it and we’re only in May.
If you want to look at his Game Score, his score of 79 was his second best of the season and was tied for the third best of his career.
