The last time we saw Walker Buehler take the mound at Dodger Stadium was June 4, 2022. I don’t think any of us were expecting that to be the last time we’d see him for nearly two years.
On Monday night, Buehler returned to a major league mound for the first time since he underwent his second Tommy John surgery plus a flexor tendon repair in his elbow. It was a long and difficult road back, but he’s finally here.
“The ceremony of it is done. Now I can focus on trying to be good.” Buehler said to reporters.
