Yoshinobu Yamamoto looked better than advertised
He made his debut on Wednesday
There is going to be a lot of hype surrounding Yoshinobu Yamamoto this season. Rightfully so.
He is the highest paid pitcher in Major League Baseball history. He won three MVP’s in Japan. He hasn’t thrown a pitch in the big leagues yet.
We got to see Yamamoto finally take the mound on Wednesday for his Cactus League debut. Somehow, he managed to exceed our expectations.
