If you’re here, you likely know me from Twitter. Or, you’ve read one of my thousands of articles over the years. Either way, welcome to my official Dodgers blog. It’s great to have you here!

I spent years covering the Dodgers for multiple outlets, but was unfortunately laid off from my job in March of 2022. With the season days away, how could I continue to stay on Dodgers coverage and provide all of you with the best in-depth pieces and tweets you’ve all come to love? Well, I found it here on Substack.

Why subscribe?

Life is about taking risks. Well, this is easily the biggest risk I’ve ever taken. With enough support from all of you, I can turn this into my full-time job once again. If I’ve learned anything recently, it’s that I truly have an amazing audience and I firmly believe with your support we can turn this into one of the best Dodgers sites out there.

Writing about the Dodgers is my passion. I love it more than anything. I’d love nothing more than to continue to do this on a day-to-day basis.

Here, you’ll have no ads or sponsors or click-bait. Personally, I hate it when an article is just covered head-to-toe in ads. I think you likely do as well. You won’t find that here. Instead, you’ll find all of my Dodgers coverage, written by me, with no filter.

Your subscription not only will gain you access to all my daily Dodgers content, it’ll also gain you access to some awesome behind-the-scenes and exclusive content you won’t get anywhere else.

What to expect with a subscription?

You’ll get all of my Dodgers content.

  • Game recaps

  • Latest news & injuries

  • Rumors

  • Commentary pieces

  • Minor-league content

  • + More

In addition to all of my content, you’ll get exclusive access and benefits I think you’ll really enjoy.

  • Weekly Q&A mailbag where I answer all your Dodgers (and non-Dodgers) questions

  • Access to a Twitter groupchat where you, me + other Dodgers fans can talk about the team

  • Monthly zoom call with me and other subscribers to ask questions and talk about the Dodgers for an hour or so

  • Appear as a guest on my Substack exclusive podcast “Talking Blue with Blake Harris”

  • Monthly bobblehead giveaways (potentially ticket + over giveaways)

  • Group Dodgers games with me and other subscribers

How much will a subscription cost?

I know, I know. Time for the million dollar question. How much will a subscription cost?

$5

So for five bucks a month, you’ll get access to all my articles plus the weekly/monthly behind-the-scenes access. Even better, you’ll be supporting an independent journalist. You likely spend $5 on a coffee or a double-bacon cheeseburger at least once a month, so consider this a much healthier alternative!

Believe me, I know paying a monthly fee to read articles is not something a lot of people are fans of. I truly get it.

But for only five dollars, not only are you getting some pretty awesome content and access, you’re helping me do this full-time. No, seriously, your $5 will help me do this on a day-to-day basis. It will allow me to continue to post all of the Twitter content you’ve likely come to love. Your monthly subscription will make a difference and allow me to do this for as long as possible.

I have some other options as well. If you’d like to save some money and stick around for a while, you can purchase a one-year subscription for $50.

If you’re a really big fan of my content and would like to show your support, there’s also an option to be a ‘Founding Member’ for $75 a year (or more if you really want to support me!). If you subscribe to this tier, you’ll receive:

  • 10x entries into the bobblehead giveaways

  • Chance to go to Dodgers game with me in 2023

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me over the years. All the tweets and messages I’ve gotten from all of you have truly made my job even better. Looking forward to this new and exciting chapter!

If you are not already a Subscriber to Blake's service, what are you waiting for? My subscription is a bargain for what I have received.

Sandy Hunt:

When you’re a Dodgers fan that does not live in California, articles like yours are so much fun to read and it helps me stay in the loop of what I miss from not having local coverage.

Monica Lewandowski:

I read your newsletter every day, informative and balanced with a positive approach. I've had a lot of fun with the Zoom hangouts and Twitter group. And in the Talking Blue podcast, Blake has started to interview fans in the paid subscriber group to share their favorite Dodger stories . . . If you're not yet a paid subscriber, I highly recommend!

Margaret Scully:

For me it’s like going to all the games with a huge group of like minded friends. There is no other platform, I know of, where I can sit and and watch a game and commiserate or be delighted with what’s going on inning after inning. What a nice and truly knowledgeable group of people you have created.
