Well, here’s a Tuesday morning surprise. According to multiple reports, the Dodgers will be calling up outfielder Andy Pages.
Pages is arguably the Dodgers’ top hitting prospect and is considered by many outlets to be a Top 100 prospect in the game.
Over the last week, I’ve repeatedly said on here the Dodgers won’t call up Pages. Not because he wasn’t deserving, but I just couldn’t see the team actually going through with it. The Dodgers are known for keeping their top hitting prospects down in the minors.
Well, desperate times call for desperate measures.
