It was two years ago when I had the worst Zoom call of my life. Right before the Dodgers season was set to begin, I lost my job. Boom. Just like that, it was gone.
Not knowing what to do, I decided to make a Substack page where I could continue my work covering the Dodgers. I wanted a platform where I’d be able to continue writing about the Dodgers. I’ve been able to do just that here.
For the last two years, I’ve written over 1,000 articles here on my Substack page. It’s been a fun journey, and hopefully I can do this for many more years.
Over the last two years, I’ve gotten to know a lot of my subscribers. One of the main reasons is because of a Twitter groupchat I created, one of the many benefits of being a subscriber to my page. It’s grown into a little community over there and I’ve loved every day of it.
As a thank you to everyone who is supported me these last two years, I wanted to have my biggest giveaway yet.
I will be giving away a Shohei Ohtani jersey to one of my paid subscribers!
To win, all you gotta do is be a paid subscriber. Whether you’re a founding member, have a yearly or monthly plan, you’re immediately entered. If you’re not a paid subscriber, you can support me for as little as $5 a month!
You can learn more about a subscription here
You’ll get access to all of my articles, plus some really great perks as well. One of those perks includes being in that Twitter groupchat filled with me and lots of other Dodgers fans! You also get automatically entered into giveaways, such as this one.
It may not seem like much, but a paid subscription really does go a long way. This is my full-time job, so I’m able to do this because of you guys. If you enjoy my content on Twitter or wherever you’ve seen me, a paid subscription really helps me do this on a day-to-day basis.
Again, thank you so much to everyone who has read and supported my work over the last few years. I really appreciate each and every one of you!
This is beyond generous. Your insight and articles are the real gift. Thanks for everything and THINK BLUE
It’s been a great ride so far. Looking forward to many more years of both your articles and the Twitter (X) group. That’s a huge benefit for Dodger Fans who like to follow along with the games and the off season antics.
