I’ve always wanted to start my Dodgers memorabilia collection but I haven’t found a good way to start yet and I think this is it. I’ve been a fan for years and think this is an awesome way to take my fandom to the next level.
I grew up in Inglewood and Los Angeles in the 60’s and 70’s and the Dodgers were then and are still my team! Growing up watching Steve Yeager, Ron Cey, Pedro Guerrero, Steve Garvey and Bill Russell …just to name a few was amazing! It would be an honor to add this ball to my Dodger collection.
Pedro is one for the first Dodger hitters I remember. Along with Garvey. For my son I've picked up signed balls from Kershaw, Buehler and Bellinger of the modern guys. We have a Don Sutton, too. This would look real nice next to it. It is amazing how you just love certain players in different eras.
Wow, I’m tearing up just ready these stories. While I don’t have any link to these players, (I was only 2 in 1981) I am hoping to pass down my love of the Dodgers franchise that I’ve had since I was 5 years old going to my first game with my dad. He’s no longer here, and to be honest, I just realized on his birthday (November 7th) that I have lived more years on this earth without him than I did with him. I pray that I get more time with my now 10-month-old son Bryson Morgan than my dad had with me. I’ll be one day passing all of my memorabilia to him as my dad once did to me. And hope to have this as part of the collection
I want to win this giveaway so that I can give the ball to my mom. She grew up watching these guys and the Dodgers with my grandpa and she was 10 when they won the World Series in 81. I want to be able to give her something to remember that time and my grandpa by
Although on this earth, the titles in the 1960s I was a toddler. The teams of the mid-to-late 1970s were probably better than 1981. But beating the Yankees? C’mon man. Would love another LAD-NYY World Series.
My wife's favorite player is Ron Cey. This would be fit in nicely in the case right next to my son's 1st MLB hit baseball. - 05-30-2004 off Eddie Guardado at Fewnway
Thanks for doing this giveaway Blake! My dad and grandpa always reminisced on that season, and their passion for the Dodgers has been passed down to me and my brother. Having those autographed balls would be a great connection to the cherished memories and stories that are very much a part of our family!

Pedro Guerrero was one of my favorite players when I was a kid!
Steve Yeager has always been my favorite Dodger
I have definitely read some entertaining stories about Mr. Yeager.

Blake, amazing item. So many
memories. I would love to be given such an amazing piece of Dodgers history. 81 was an amazing season and the first I can honestly recall as a child.
Good luck to all of us!

I wasn't born in 1981 so this is the closest I'll get to reliving that special season :)

I want to put this right next to my other most prized possession, a baseball signed by the 5 consecutive ROY 💙⚾️

Ron Cey was my all time favorite player when I was little. The penguin was fun to watch.
