I can't anymore with this team. I've been a fan for almost 40 years now. For the past 10 years, this has been the best regular season team in the history of baseball. But, absolutely refuses to show up in the postseason apart from a couple years. It's not just "not showing up" it's having no edge, it's not having that standout player or play or performance. It's like we've got a bunch of nice guys who do the work. But no one who's out there like a Mickey Hatcher, or a Bryce Harper, or even a Bernie Williams or David Ortiz. Just give me some grit damnit. I am sick of it.

I actually met Bernie after his jazz concert in LA during the All-Star Break. What an awesome guy.

You are spot on! This is so discouraging. It is time to throw the analytics out and start playing baseball! We might also need to stop extending players that only swing for the fences. We need some type of change. Maybe a new approach to hitting!

Okay, one more. Dave Roberts is loved by the Team. He watches over the Players like a Big Brother. We saw that with his Meme Relief Pitcher finally DFA'd.

Fine, create the position of Big Brother and put Roberts in it.

But what the Dodgers need is a manager in the dugout during the game. A Lasorda. An Alston. Somebody that can be straight. Someone who can make the tough calls when necessary. Someone more concerned with the Team as a whole, rather than the Players as individuals to keep his job.

Lasorda said he bled Dodger Blue.

Roberts befriending instead of managing bleeds the Dodgers blue.

After Game 1 I was ready to say I was wrong about Dave. He does know the Bull Pen and how to use it. Game 2 all I could say was, "Knew it!"

Last night, at the beginning of the season we were told we signed Kiki because he could handle the lights. I saw Miggy go out injured. I didn't know Kiki's last name was spelled 'Pages.'

Who is this Dave Roberts guy anyway?
