Screw it... Dodgers should be ALL IN on Josh Hader
The Dodgers could make their bullpen even scarier
The Dodgers have spent more money than any team in baseball this offseason. They’ve made big free agent splashes with the additions of Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, while also making notable moves in acquiring Tyler Glasnow and signing Teoscar Hernandez.
It’s been one hell of an offseason for LA, as they are currently the betting favorites to win the World Series in 2024.
With a roster that looks stacked from top to bottom, the Dodgers could actually still make a couple more moves. I still believe they need to add another starting pitcher. While their rotation looks great on paper, I still think they should add some more depth with their rotation.
That’s not the reason for this article today, though. Today I’m going to be writing about another addition the Dodgers need to make. It’s a piece to their bullpen.
As things currently stand, the Dodgers’ bullpen looks to be one of the best in 2024. They return guys like Evan Phillips, Brusdar Graterol and Joe Kelly. Blake Treinen could be back after missing the last couple of years. J.P. Feyereisen literally posted a 0.00 ERA the last time we saw him pitch in Tampa Bay. Not to mention, the upside of young guys like Kyle Hurt and Michael Grove.
With that being said, they could still use another option in the bullpen. They could use another dominant arm.
What if I told you one of the best relievers in all of baseball is still available? What if I told you that by signing this player the Dodgers would have BY FAR the best bullpen in all of baseball?
Since money clearly isn’t a problem at this point in the offseason, the Dodgers should just say ‘screw it’ and sign Josh Hader.
