What do you think about the Dodgers using an opener for some of the games and piggybacking it with one of our younger starters; Landon Knack or Wrobleski perhaps?

I actually think that's a good idea and what they'll likely do for Game 4!

This might sound like a desperate move, but how about bringing in Dick Mountain? I know it's a long shot, and I'm sure the Dodgers' front office has considered it, but who knows—this could be the Cinderella story we've been waiting for. Go Dodgers! 🙏🤞

I'd love a Dick Mountain return! But since he wasn't in the organization on Aug 31 he wouldn't be postseason eligible 😭

TBH I wasn't super thrilled about the Glasnow trade when it happened...Pepiot was and remains a very good MLB-quality starter, and one without the cost or the injury history of Glasnow. In fact, if you look at the seasons they've each had this year, they haven't been hugely different:

Glasnow: 134 IP/3.49 ERA/0.948 WHIP/113 ERA+

Pepiot: 115 IP/3.76 ERA/1.138 WHIP/107 ERA+

Pepiot's lack of innings this year is mostly down to a freak infected spider bite - something that probably wouldn't have happened if he had stayed with the Dodgers, though given our luck this season who knows - but Glasnow's been actually suffering real arm damage that as you rightly point out, Blake, jeopardizes the rest of the long contract the Dodgers gave him.

Yeah it's a trade you make 10/10 times but it definitely backfired as of right now

The fact he has 4 years after this also isn't seeming too great right now!

I’m really bummed about Glasnow. The glass half full is that the lineup is starting to look dangerous again.
