I’d like to see them be aggressive and go all in this season. This trade sends 2 blocked players and a 18 year old for a stud reliever. Yes please.

I know about Mason Miller and my first thought was, "He would be perfect. How can the Dodgers get him?"

Before reading what the BR suggested, I thought Miguel Vargas. They don't list him because he is not MiLB ranked with his time already at the MLB level. But he would be highly ranked as well. They could teach Vargas to sell hot dogs in the home half inning and he would still be blocked for a year or two (Taylor another season and Heyward/Kiki this year).

Then, what about De Paula if Vargas moves up? Now he is blocked longer. Let's face it, would you rather have Teoscar OF next year or bring up Vargas for cheaper?

Rushing is in the same boat as Vargas and until this year, Busch. Even if they let Barnes go (Kersh might have a word to say about that), is it Dalton, Hunter, or someone else out there? What about Diego?

Next, to sweeten the Vargas pot as to the 'plus prospect.' Instead can we throw in Taylor and cash? Oakland loves Cash!

That would make way to bring up Andre Lipcus or speedster Avans for pinch running?
